SpringWorks’ programming spans the seasons.
We provide a safe place for local, regional, national and international artists to showcase their works and an opportunity for Stratford audiences to experience new and diverse work in their own community.
This is a place for independent creation, a springboard for new work, nurturing and supporting artistic endeavours and art forms often more easily accessed in larger urban centres.
Puppet programming has been a part of our multidisciplinary arts festival since its inception, in 2011. SpringWorks hosted their first freestanding PuppetWorks! summer festival in 2018, and has been programming the work of puppeteers from around the world ever since.
2022 saw the begining of World in a Weekend: International Puppet & Music Festival hosted in partnership with the Stratford Summer Music Festival. National and international artists join us for free and ticketed, indoor and outdoor programmming on the first long weekend in August.
