Eugenia De Jong
Eugenia De Jong is a Canadian actor, playwright, arts administrator, director and puppeteer. She member of Crane Creations Theatre Company, which produces Puppet Festival Mississauga, the largest Puppet Festival in Ontario. She has written a puppetry show for children, titled Mirror which has been produced in collaboration with Crane Creations Theatre Company, Mississauga Chamber Music Society and Puppet Theatre Maribor, in Slovenia.
James Retter Duncan
James has worked in Toronto and internationally from the West End/London to Broadway as a puppeteer and performer in an assortment of commercial theatre, various R&D devising projects with large scale puppetry, and as a puppetry consultant both in Canada and the United Kingdom. He currently works with Disney Cruise Line as their resident Puppet Specialist.

SpringWorks Festival – PuppetWorks
SpringWorks’ programming spans the seasons.
We provide a safe place for local, regional, national and international artists to showcase their works and an opportunity for Stratford audiences to experience new and diverse work in their own community.
This is a place for independent creation, a springboard for new work, nurturing and supporting artistic endeavours and art forms often more easily accessed in larger urban centres. SpringWorks hosted their first PuppetWorks festival in 2018, and has been programming work from puppeteers from around the world ever since.
